I'll be performing in a benefit concert at Yoshi's in Oakland, CA on March 24. It's a benefit for Christopher Rodriguez, a ten year old boy who was recently shot while taking a piano lesson and is now paralyzed from the waist down. Please see my MySpace page for details on showtimes and tickets.

My new solo Gershwin CD Matt Herskowitz Plays Gershwin has been getting universally rave reviews, and is so far my best selling CD! Thanks to all of you who bought it, and a big thanks as well to everyone who has come to my numerous Gershwin concerts these past several months. I've been touched by your beautiful comments on this recording. I recently the same Gershwin program for Yamaha Disklavier; for those of you who don't own one these gadgets, it's a very fancy digital player piano that reproduces my performance with uncanny accuracy on your own piano. It will soon be available to download from Yamaha's online PianoSoft store - just go to their website and you'll find it. If you're interested in getting a copy of the CD version and are living outside Canada (or even inside Canada, for that matter) it's available online at CD Baby and  fusion3.com, as well as at www.archambault.ca; just type my name in the search bar and all of my albums come up.

MaD Fusion's Christmas CD with Barry Manilow is now available in all Hallmark stores worldwide! The recording was an amazing experience, and I can assure you it's going to be a really, really cool CD, probably not what you would expect; probably not what Hallmark was expecting either, but apparently they love it! Good straight-ahead swingin' jazz, just crazy enough to bring a smile to your face. For the morbidly curious, pictures of the session are now up on the gallery page at www.madfusionmusic.com

Gabriel's Message/l'Ange Gabriel nominated for a Félix!
As this is my second nomination in consecutive years, I'm somewhat stunned by this unexpected but highly welcome development. The nomination was at the l'Autre Gala on October 23rd in Montreal. Unfortunately, the second time was not the charm, but there's always next year for the Gershwin CD to look forward to!
Gabriel's Message is of course still available in stores across Canada and at www.cdbaby.com/herskowitz2 and Fusion3.com for the holiday season.
